Apparently many RVers camp at Wal-Mart locations and according to an article they encourage it as free camping! It must make sense, they have the space and people can then walk into the store to buy supplies. It’s recommend of course you check with the store just in case before you setup your camp.
Here is an article from June 2005 about Camp Dads, which is a bunch of Dads getting together with the kids (appears no wifes or girlfriends allowed) for a camping trip. It’s a great idea that many other Dads should consider. Not sure if this group planned a trip in 2006.
