Below is a camping pack list that can be used as a guide for both multiple nights of camping or for just a single overnight camping trip packing list. This is a general guide as each person and family is different. Everyone has different tastes and needs. So please use this to prepare your personal camping pack list. Ideally you should setup a spreadsheet or other type of document you can save to your computer. That way each time you go camping you’ll be able to modify it. Every time you go on a campout you’ll probably say something such as “I wish I would of brought _______ on the camping trip” or “I don’t know why I always bring _______ with me camping as I never use it”. Write it down or make a mental note so when you get home you can update your camping trip packing list for your next extended or overnight campout.
